about Air  ( Nichapa Jittaleela - ณิชาภา จิตตลีลา )

Air is ...                                                                                                                          Nichapa Jittaleela is a Thai Pianist (Chinese - Thai) ,Vocalist ,Composer and Producer.  Her nickname is Air , was born in Thailand , 1982. Air took her first piano lessons at age five. When she's 13years old  got second prize from Yamaha Electone festival Thailand. Air was studied music arrangement and composition with Mr. Manrat Srigranon [who's well known as H.M.king Bhumiphol's pianist] and Mr. Trong Tipayawat when she's 14years old.    After a couple years of writing advertising jingles for shampoo product Rejoice and a few other high-profile companies in Thailand. Air came to Chiangmai university to study in masscommunication faculty. Nevertheless, what is always crying inside her heart is music and that is the reason for her chosen path as a musician. In 2001, she's got first prize from TroS music mix,and got CMU music contest the first prize in 2003.  In 2005,she's studied jazz composition with Mr. Ittinan Intaranan (alumnus Berklee), and got first runner up prize from Thailand Blues contest.    " Professional musician? what many people dream of becoming; however, she keeps telling herself  that she is not a professional musician because in her mind, music is not a profession,It is life. She always dreams of sharing her passion and feeling through the songs she composes ,that's a reason to making a music studio named HoxLuckSill in 2006. Which is thus a product of what is truly inside this girl dream and belief.    The Devine Comedy compilation album produced by Air was released in October 2006 (included 2songs of her original,Someone someday part1-part2).    Air is also interesting about studio recording , in 2007 she went to studied a certificate course at School of audio engineering(SAE) Singapore. Air is very active musician , she's got more experience by jam session and play with jazz musician in many countries around the world , and they became her inspiration. Now ,Air found herself  that she's deeply falling in love with jazz music.

2010 : " Air " perform solo , invited to be lecturer at Philosophy of  music class at             Silpakorn university Nakhornprathom.          

2009 : Air performed with P'Chai Blues (one of legendary blues guitarist in Thailand)            at Judprakai concert series #36  "Banglumpoo blues band " , Thailand            Cultural centre                                                                                                                Air performed with Mai & friends blues band at THINK concert Blues for the king,            Nimmanheamin park Chiangmai Thailand.                                                                          Air performed with Youth excellence on stage program at Thailand cultural            centre by YES academy , Embassy of the United states bangkok , and Faculty of            music Silpakorn university.                                                                                              Air had jam session with Marty Nau Quartet at Twins jazz and  BluesAlley jazz            pub Washington DC.                                                                                                       Air had recorded original song " Dream " at Talkin rocket nyc & CUBE studio DC,            (Air on piano and vocal , invited Marty Nau on saxophone)                                           Air " feat Alex Wan and his band live at  "Outpost 186"  [186 Hampshire St            Cambridge MA 02139 USA. 2008 : Air's got special praise prize from Taichung Jazz Festival Piano competition ,            Taiwan                                                                                                                             Air Quartet band Live @ TK Park CentralWorld Bangkok.                                                Air Quartet band performed @ HuaHin International Jazz Festival.                                Air Trio band performed @ Inverloch Jazz Festival , Inverloch Australia.                Air Trio band performed @ Wesley Mission hall, Sydney Australia.

2007 : Studied Audio engineering BRT course at School Of Audio Engineering            (SAE ,Singapore).                                                                                                         Travels to Jam Session with Others Musician in Asia (Beijing,Laos,Hanoi,            Phnompenh,Siemreap,HongKong,Macau,Malaysia,Singapore).                                  Worked as Pianist at Lapaz Cafe , Chiangmai Thailand.                                          Studied piano with Jonathan Saiman.

2006 : Pianist at Monkey club , Chiangmai Thailand.                                                        Composed Radio commercial spot for Polamuangnuer news paper.                         Producer at HoxLuckSill music.                                                                              Released own album “The Devine Comedy”.

2005 : Worked as Keyboardlist , Pianist at Immortal Pub and Restaurant , Bangkok.            Teaching piano at Woranan music school , Chiangmai Thailand.                                         Got 2nd prize from Thailand Blues Contest( Music department of Silpakorn            university  & Saxophone pub Bangkok ).                                                                  Studied Jazz composition with Mr. Ittinan Intaranan (Alumnus Berklee).

2004 : Got 1st prize from Chiangmai University Music Contest.                                            Performed piano solo in OPEN “ Toxinomic “ exhibition , Bangkok.             Composed songs for 40 years anniversary Chiangmai university.                            Worked as Keyboardlist , Pianist at The Goodview Pub and Restaurant ,             Chiangmai Thailand.

2003 : Composed songs for MAMIA musical ,and performed at CMU. hall.                      Performed as Chorus with Took& Friends Brasserie band at "730 days Charan             Manopech concert , Chiangmai.                                                                                       To be apprenticed as Co-sound engineer at Cine Digital sound studio, Bangkok.

2002 : Performed piano (with The Suam band) at “Shoot Sound Show” concert by Music            department , Payap university ,Chiangmai.

2001 : Got 1st prize from TROS Music Mix band contest.

2000 : Vocal Performed as Chorus in musical concert at KAD theatre , Chiangmai                   Got 1st prize from Chiangmai Food festival music contest.                                           Piano teacher at Yamaha music school , Chiangmai.

1999 : Composed song for commercial radio spot “ Be a better you “ , for shampoo            product ( Rejoice ) and a few other high-profile companies in Thailand.

1997 : Got 3rd prize from Satriwithaya school music contest,Bangkok.

1996 : Got 2nd prize from Yamaha ecectone festival Thailand.                                                   Studied Music Theory , Arrangement & composition with Mr. Trong Tippayawat            and Mr.Manratt Srikranon (Who well known as H.M. king Bhumipol’s pianist)            Performed piano at Vashiravut concert  hall, Bangkok.

1987 : Studied Piano and electone at Yamaha music school,Thailand.
