Jonathan Saiman (Born Jonathan Ciputra Pesa Saiman 1985)

           His hometown is in Bandung , Indonesia. Jonathan has been into music since the age of 7.  Originally trained in classical music, he moved to jazz at the age of 15. Since then he   has been  performing in many big venues in Singapore such as The Esplanade, D’Marquee,   Wala wala,  Timbre, Regent hotel, Fullerton hotel and many others. Together with his band   Soul’d out he  also has performed at “Jazz at Marina” and “Singapore Street Festivals”. He   and his bands also  achieve numerous awards through competitions such as Singapore   Battle Of the Band  2004(Winner), FusionX Band Competitions (winner), School of   Rock ( Best Bassist) and Asian  Beat 2005 and 2006(Best Keyboardist). He and his   bands (Jiveoholics) has also performed in  Pine Club charity events attended by Singapore   President S R Nathan. Together with his band  (Audio Breakout), he has performed in   Mediacorp-hosted events such as Sky Symphony  Countdown 2006 held by channel 5.   Currently, Jonathan is teaching full time at Play By Ear  Music School as Senior Jazz   Instructor and performing as a session musician(Piano, Bass) for  music gig and private   functions.
